The Tube-Tech MEC 1A Recording Channel is a single-channel recording unit that integrates a microphone preamplifier, equaliser, and compressor. Its shelving and bell filters are driven by a tube operational amplifier. The Tube-Tech MEC 1A is fully tube-based, except for the power supply, and features fully floating transformers for both input and output. All DC voltages are stabilised, except for the anode voltage in the output stage.
