The Primacoustic Stratus is an acoustic cloud system designed to create expansive acoustic ceilings by linking multiple units with a rigid frame.
Primacoustic Stratus Studio Cloud
Primacoustic Stratus – Your mixing console is the heart of your studio, the spot where you spend countless hours making crucial mixing decisions. To create the perfect mix, you need an optimized listening space, free from annoying resonances and reverberations that can cause unwanted peaks at your mix position.
Primacoustic Stratus Studio Ceiling Clouds offer an ideal solution for imperfect listening environments. When hung directly over your mixing console, these ceiling clouds eliminate ceiling reflections and expand the sweet spot in your studio. This way, you can focus on crafting the perfect mix without constantly shifting around to find the optimal listening position.
Tests reveal that the suspended Primacoustic Stratus cloud is highly effective at absorbing sound from 100Hz and above. This efficiency is achieved through a combination of a two-inch glass wool panel and the air space formed behind the panel when suspended. The Stratus effectively absorbs strong primary reflections that bounce off room boundaries and flutter echoes between the ceiling and floor.
