This compact three-way monitor packs a punch with 500W + 500W + 150W of Class-D power from Pascal amplification, sophisticated digital signal processing, and a flat bass response down to 44Hz at -3dB and 37Hz at -6dB. It also reaches up to 31kHz, offering unparalleled high-frequency detail.

Dynaudio studio monitors are renowned for their revealing detail, and the Esotar Pro tweeter takes this to a new level. It ensures that what goes in, comes out, thanks to innovative airflow technology and a powerful neodymium magnet.

The Hexis inner dome, developed through extensive testing, optimises airflow, improves thermal response, and eliminates unwanted internal resonances. The result is exceptional imaging, transient detail, and effortless high-frequency response, making it perfect for long mix sessions without fatigue.

The 4-inch midrange driver delivers staggering detail with our proprietary MSP (Magnesium Silicate Polymer) material, an aluminium voice-coil, and a neodymium magnet system. This ensures a fast response and authoritative control. With crossover points at 475Hz and 5.25kHz, Core 47 handles more of the critical vocal range in one driver, allowing confident mix decisions on vocal balances and dialogue subtleties.

The Dynaudio Core 47 shares its woofer with the Core 7, but in this three-way design, it focuses on delivering deeper bass. This results in exceptional clarity in the lower frequencies, allowing you to accurately equalise bass instruments and subwoofer “booms” in movies.

Each driver is handmade in our Danish factory, ensuring consistency and exceptional imaging. This means you can use Core monitors in multiple studios with the same high-level performance.

The Dynaudio Core 47 benefits from advanced DSP sophistication, developed from our renowned AIR series. It offers easy-to-use settings for different acoustic environments: Anechoic, Desk, and Soffit, along with boundary filters to compensate for walls or corners.

Core 47 can be used with tweeters-in or tweeters-out, depending on your room and listening position. It also features the Sound Balance filter, which tilts the entire frequency response for a darker or brighter tone without affecting phase response.

The monitor’s noise floor and signal resolution are critical. Core 47 offers a range of 0dBu to +24dBu to match input sensitivity. It processes all analogue signals at a 192kHz sampling rate for precise DSP performance.

For AES digital inputs, you can set the channel (L or R) and maximum output SPL. The DSP locks to the AES clock or incoming word clock, maintaining accurate signal processing without sample-rate conversion.

The Dynaudio Core 47’s cabinet is designed to be stiff and inert, with a thick bezel that ensures excellent linearity across the spectrum. It can be used in various orientations, with special isolation pads to protect the finish and prevent vibrations.

Designed for multi-channel setups, Core 47 includes brackets for surround sound, immersive audio, and custom configurations.

The Dynaudio Core 47’s compact size and superb midrange detail make it ideal for music recording studios, TV dub stages, edit suites, broadcast trucks, ADR facilities, and game authoring suites. It’s also excellent as a surround monitor in broadcast and theatrical dub stages, including multi-channel immersive-audio rooms.
