d&b Audiotechnik D40 Amplifier

The d&b Audiotechnik D40 Amplifier is a four-channel Class D mobile amplifier delivering the power density needed for high-efficiency d&b systems, including the KSL System, V-Series, Y-Series, and T-Series.

d&b Audiotechnik D40 Amplifier

The d&b Audiotechnik D40 Amplifier offers comprehensive loudspeaker management with switchable filters, user-defined equalisation, and delay capabilities for precise system tuning.

Enhanced energy-saving features, high power efficiency, and Automatic Wake-Up help reduce resource consumption and meet environmental responsibility standards.

The d&b Audiotechnik D40 Amplifier supports up to eight input channels, with four analogue and four AES3 digital channels, each with corresponding link outputs. Each input channel can be routed to any output channel, providing versatile routing options.

A switch-mode power supply with automatic mains range selection and active Power Factor Correction (PFC) ensures a clean current draw and stable performance, even under challenging mains conditions.

Connection to the d&b Remote network is available via Ethernet using the Open Control Architecture protocol (AES70/OCA). The d&b Audiotechnik D40 Amplifier can be controlled through the integrated web interface, accessible via a browser, or with the d&b R1 Remote control software.

For compatible d&b loudspeakers, the d&b Audiotechnik D40 Amplifier’s LoadMatch feature maintains tonal balance even with cable lengths of up to 70 m (230 ft).
