d&b Audiotechnik 24C Column Loudspeaker

The HF array of the d&b Audiotechnik 24C provides a vertical dispersion of 20°, which can be continuously adjusted between 0° and -14° to precisely target audience areas. The low/mid drivers are angled downwards by 5°, delivering strong directivity down to 370 Hz. These 4″ drivers are arranged in a cardioid configuration, radiating through front waveguide elements and rear damped ports, creating a consistent 90° horizontal directivity and approximately 18 dB rear attenuation.

This cardioid design minimises energy behind the loudspeaker, reducing reflections and achieving balanced sound across the listening area, enhancing gain before feedback when using open microphones. The 24C’s enclosure is made with an extruded aluminium back and a metal baffle, while a metal grille protects the front and sides.

The rear includes continuous T-slot rails for mounting and a 4-pole Phoenix combicon terminal connector. Available in black or white as standard, xC-Series speakers can also be customised in any RAL colour with the Special Colour (SC) option. For extended vertical pattern control down to 190 Hz, the d&b Audiotechnik 24C can be paired with the 24C-E passive extension.
