Audix A133 Studio Condenser Microphone

The Audix A133 is a large-diaphragm condenser microphone, perfect for capturing vocals, choirs, pianos, acoustic instruments, and overheads. Its sleek, compact design makes it an excellent choice for podcasting, professional audio production, studio work, and live stage performances.

Encased in a precision-machined aluminium body, the 33 mm fixed-charge capsule features a gold-sputtered diaphragm, delivering a wide and natural frequency response. The Audix A133’s cardioid polar pattern accurately captures performance details while effectively rejecting room noise and other unwanted off-axis sounds.

A double woven steel mesh grille combined with ultra-thin acoustic foam provides exceptional pop resistance, making it ideal for podcasting and vocal recordings. The open-air capsule mounting system ensures transparent, uncoloured sound, while proprietary impedance control between the capsule and circuitry guarantees consistent and reliable performance in various environments.

The Audix A133 also includes a highly effective internal shock mount that isolates the capsule from mechanical vibrations and handling noise, eliminating the need for an external shock mount.

The microphone features a switchable 10 dB pad and bass roll-off, making it adaptable for any recording or live performance situation. Built for studio-quality performance in a durable, road-ready package, the Audix A133 comes with a protective zippered carrying case.

This microphone requires 48-52 V phantom power. For optimal results, it should be used with a high-quality mic preamplifier and microphone cable.
