In May 2022, Ordio Productions undertook an exciting project at a renovated warehouse on Hill Street, Cremorne, Victoria. Partnering with Vault Projects, we aimed to enhance the acoustic environment of this large open-plan commercial space using high-quality Autex Acoustic products.

The renovated warehouse presented a unique challenge due to its vast open-plan layout, which often results in significant reverberation and echo issues. To address this, we selected the Autex Quietspace 50mm Nude White Panels, renowned for their exceptional sound absorption capabilities.
Our goal was to cover the entire ceiling with these panels, providing a Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) rating of 1.00. This NRC rating signifies that the panels absorb 100% of the sound that strikes them, effectively eliminating reverberation within the space.
A total of 50 panels were utilised in this project, strategically installed across the entire ceiling. The use of the Autex Quietspace panels not only improved the acoustic quality of the warehouse but also added a clean, modern aesthetic to the space.
