Audio restoration is a generalised term for the process of removing imperfections from sound recordings. Modern audio restoration techniques are usually performed by digitising an audio source from analog media. Once in the digital realm, recordings can be restored and cleaned up using dedicated, standalone digital processing units such as de-clickers, de-cacklers, de-hissers and dialogue noise suppressors, or using digital audio workstations (DAWs). At Ordio Productions we can perform various automated techniques to remove anomalies using algorithms to accomplish broadband de-noising, de-clicking and de-crackling, as well as removing hum, white noise, buzzes, digital clipping and digital distortion.

We accept most common types of analog and digital media to transfer to and from, in some cases we may not be able to recover data that has been damaged due to poor storage conditions and or general wear and tear. As it is difficult to put a set price on each restoration job we request that you talk to us as some clients only need us to retrieve the data and "give it a new life" where as others require a FULL restoration package where we are able to remove 99% of audio imperfections and unwanted noises and interferences.
