KINETIC METHOD is the musical sounds of Sydney-based musicians Luke Koteras and Byron Mark. Luke, well-known for his virtuosic acoustic guitar playing, also brings a solid vocal talent, together with an array of dazzling effects, to the Kinetic Method sound. Byron ads musical flavours with his keyboard work, and establishes a solid groove with his unique percussion setup. With the multi-tasking abilities of both members, Kinetic Method creates a large wall of sound for just two people. They have performed internationally, including the UK, Africa, China, and Thailand during 2006 and 2007. In 2008, Kinetic Method completed their self-titled debut dance album mid 2009, and has recently completed their acoustic album titled ‘Find a Friend’.

Simon has played in many bands and ensembles and his work has encompassed a wide variety of styles including jazz, rock and classical music. He was the main songwriter, lead vocalist and guitarist in Townsville band The Kitchen (2000-2006). The band wrote and recorded two albums together and performed extensively in the Townsville area at original music venues, council events, corporate functions and jazz festivals. His more recent collaborations have included jazz-rock band Captain Nemo and the Golden Mean Jazz Regime; Electroacoustic/jazz band, Liquid, featuring Matthew Hill; and the eclectic covers duo, Si-Fi.

mrben have just announced that Jonathan Lawrence will be replacing Leighton Holloway as their official new bass player for the line up in 2010 and beyond. The boys wish Leighton the very best in his new endeavors with his new band and will always be grateful for his hard work, creative input and excellent performances both on stage and in the studio over the past 5 years. With Jonathan now on board, he brings a different approach to the existing playlist and is gearing up for one hell of an exciting year with the band. Jeff & Ben have welcomed "Jono" with open arms and have been very busy rehearsing for their "new sound" and touring plans.

Kieran’s live performance showcases his talent as a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and story teller. 2009 saw Kieran touring his solo show solidly around Australia, most recently completing over 120 gigs covering 6 states. Highlights included the 2009 Queenscliff Music Festival, 2009 Adelaide Fringe Festival, 2009 Darwin Fringe Festival, 2009 Tamworth Country Music Festival, and 2009 Yackandandah Folk Festival.

Brisbane singer-songwriter JOHN MEYER is a versatile indie troubadour. Edged-out and left of centre, his music explores territory ranging from lovingly hand-crafted folky pop tunes through to dramatic, atmospheric rock –with a broad repertoire of arrangements that can be fine-tuned to suit a range of performance spaces. John is a well known presence in Brisbane indie circles, sharing stages with acts such as Kate Bradley, Polyvinyl, the Blood Poets, Chris Pickering, and Tom Cooney. He is a regular at many of Brisbane’s premiere music venues including the Zoo, the Troubadour and Rics Bar, and has undertaken a number of East Coast tours.

Currently based on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia, Kep Andrews is an emerging guitarist singer / songwriter in the style of Dave Matthews, Ryan Adams and John Mayer. His vocal style has been described as "heartwarming", "mellow and relaxed" and "sweet, deep and compassionate". Playing the guitar since his teens, he has learnt his live chops - among others - as the touring guitarist for Delta Goodrem. His extensive experience ranges from large bands to solo unplugged gigs. On New Wings, Kep Andrews shares his past, his present, his inspiration and his opinions with the listener. It was released globally through iTunes on 2 March 2009.


Our Focus

Our aim is to focus on Australian artists and provide them with international exposure, national radio airplay, digital distribution, direct licensing & media opportunities.As an independent record label we have developed relationships with multiple industry organisations, putting us on their radar for new music from our growing catalogue. All artists that are under our catalogue are not signed, managed or locked into an official legal contract.

The agreement we have in place is a non-exclusive opportunity for independent artists to be represented by Ordio Productions. We actively seek ways to get original sound recordings in front of the right people through our global networks. Ordio Productions will work closely with all artists and their managers in order to identify your long term goals and help to achieve them.

A&R Team

Ordio Productions accepts unsolicited demos and completed unsigned releases from artists all across Australia. We DO take the time and listen to them all and get back to everyone as soon as we can. Please ensure that you provide us with your current contact details upon submitting your music. We do have minimum requirements that all artists must meet in order to qualify for our non-exclusive artist development proposal (ADP).

Our A&R team will assess all applications and conduct a face to face meeting to discuss our offer in depth prior to any official agreement is signed. It is also very important that upon submitting your demo or official release to us the manager of the artist is well aware of what we are offering. If the artist is currently under a legal contract with a third party industry representative we do ask that we are informed of the terms and conditions of a pre-existing legal contract.

Applications for new Australian independent artists are now open, we are looking for serious unsinged artists to join our small but growing catalogue, if your a female solo artist, a 3-4 piece rock band or an instrumental group that has recently recorded an EP or a debut album that is ripe and ready we are very keen to hear from you. Our A&R team receive over 20 physical CD's every week and around 150 emails from artists who want to send us their new material. As much as we have no problem with this method of receiving your music we would like to encourage artists to send us tracks VIA SoundCloud. We have just created an account and can already see how beneficial this process will work for all of us. We look forward to listening to your music very soon.
